Fennel Seeds Whole Dried Premium Quality

 A dried seed produced by the fennel herb bulbs, fennel seeds look like cumin seeds only with a slightly greenish tone. They have a subtle aniseed and liquorice flavour which can be used on there own or with chinese 5 spice powder. 

They are great for flavouring meat, fish or vegetable dishes and have also been known to make an appearance in chutneys and breads. Or simply chew the seed to freshen breath and aid digestion.

To extract the maximum flavour from the seeds it is recommended that you dry fry them over a medium heat.
